Kiki’s journey into this distinctive style was shaped by her upbringing in Sochi, Russia, where her Armenian heritage instilled in her a deep appreciation for rich textures, intricate patterns, and the beauty of storytelling through design. From an early age, Kiki displayed a natural flair for creativity, crafting exquisite clothes for her dolls despite having limited resources. This early passion blossomed into a lifelong obsession with fashion, and her creative eye began to recognize the beauty in blending contrasting elements—much like the free-spirited, eclectic nature of Bohemian style combined with the refined elegance and history of Eastern craftsmanship.
As a teenager, Kiki expanded her artistic talents into music and dance, mastering the piano and choreography. Her career took her to Moscow, where she immersed herself in the world of show business as a choreographer, singer, and dancer.
